Full paper Submission

Deadline for submission of full papers is December 31, 2013.

Deadline of camera-ready papers after revisions will be February 15, 2014.

The lenght of full paper should be between 10-15 pages in Springer format.

In special cases can be extended to 20 pages.


Submitted full papers will be subject to stringent peer review by experts and carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings to be published by Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography (edited by Springer).


For full paper format please use the template in MSWord or LaTeX (allow use macros in MS Word) and follow the Key Style Points on springer.com. For submission upload via EasyChair use PDF format.


Producing your paper  in several formats is reflected in the preparation of the manuscript and means that all (Word, LaTeX, etc.) manuscript files we receive will be converted to XML and re-formatted according to the Springer branded style. Accordingly, it is no longer necessary for you to spend valuable time putting the final touches to the manuscript.

However, we have compiled a list of key style points on manuscript structure, figure resolution, reference style etc., which – if considered during manuscript preparation – will help facilitate and speed up the publication process for your book. Further, please note that all illustrations will be available in full color in the eBook but in black and white in the printed book. If color is essential for individual figures in the printed version, please list the corresponding figures in a separate spreadsheet.


All attendants with accepted paper should expect to register and attend the conference.

EasyChair Instructions for Authors


The submission and review of papers for the CARTOCON2014 will be managed through an online conference paper management system called „EasyChair. (www.easychair.org). This system gives you, the author, complete control over your submission. You can upload your abstract and check on the review status of your submission.  The submission process consists of three stages:


1) Abstract Submission,

2) Full Paper Submission

3) Final Paper Submission.


In each stage, our committee members will review your paper and notify you of the result. Only papers that are accepted in stage 1 will be submitted to stage 2, and only papers accepted in stage 2 will be submitted to stage 3.
